The 1924 motor has found a new home in England.
Those looking for accurate antique appraisals might be interested to note a Bentley has gone under the hammer for £150,000.
The classic car - which has been in the same family since the 1950s - was sold at Bonhams' collectors motor cars auction, the BBC reports.
Built in 1924, the three-liter Speed Model Tourer was purchased 30 years later by Eye mouth enthusiast Bill Martin and stayed in his family until it was sold earlier this month.
A spokesman for the auctioneers said it is unusual the vehicle has been in continuous use since being built, noting it now has a new home in England.
He added: "Bill Martin drove the car regularly and took part in numerous vintage car runs in the Borders over the years."
This comes after a motor used by Winston Churchill during two of his election campaigns was given a pre-sale auction value of up to £250,000.
