Collectors might be interested in one Cheshire fundraiser.
Businesses in the north-west of England are preparing for a charity auction organised by Age Concern Cheshire.
The group is calling for firms and individuals to donate items towards the fundraiser, which will involve a champagne reception and dinner, according to the Norwich Guardian.
It may offer an ideal opportunity for those seeking antique valuations to identify a bargain at auction.
Proceeds from the sale will be put towards help for older people in the county.
Those in attendance will also participate in a three-course meal, as well as other entertainment.
Collectors looking to rummage through their attic and pick out a potentially lucrative item might be inspired by details of the event.
Meanwhile, antique valuation seekers might have been inspired by a story that emerged last month, when it was revealed that a family in Derby shire sold a vase for £10,600, which was more than 30 times its predicted worth.
