Autographed historical documents to go under the hammer

Signatures from the likes of Abraham Lincoln and Neil Armstrong are to be auctioned off.

A range of documents bearing the signatures of historical figures such as Abraham Lincoln and Einstein are to be auctioned off.

They are to go under the hammer at Bloomsbury Auctions in NewYork and feature three letters from the aforementioned scientist,which have been valued at between $9,000 (£5,995) and $12,000, PaulFraser Collectibles reports.

In addition, a rare signed manuscript by Petrus Stuyvesantpertaining to the granting of land two Dutchmen near what is now the Brooklyn Bridge to is expected to go for between $30,000 and$40,000.
